Fear Is The Absence Of Love

There is definitely a polarity between Sex and Spirit
and once again people are being misled by the
Christian Fundamentalists tools of fear, guilt, shame
and blame. Have any of these people even read the
scriptures most which have been lost in translation?
There is a great deal of contradiction in the Bible,
both Old and New Testaments and all I have ever
witnessed is hypocrisy from those who perpetuate the
myth that love is only sacred between a male and
female. What Dark Age are these people living in?
"Love the sinner, Hate the sin"?!...the Age of Dualism
born during the advent of Christianity has spent
thousands of years attempting to convert anyone who refused to
accept their doctrines. Does anyone believe that Jesus
was Caucasian...wearing long hair like a hippy with
fair skin and blue eyes?  Just check out the
geographics and you'll figure it out! I am personally
offended by the martyrdom that certain people are so
willing to embrace...suffering is like an addiction.
In the Creation story Adam and Eve were originally a
Male/Female in the  body of Jehovah's first  human creation

...the original Hermaphrodite until (Eve) the
feminine was ripped out of the masculine and there was a

division which in seeking its union fell from Grace (divine mother) and the resulting banishment
from the Garden of Eden. They had two sons: Cain and
Abel...supposedly one being good...the other
evil...then these two sons found wives...? Question:
If God only created Adam and Eve...where did these
other women come from?  If we are to focus on
the teachings of Christ perhaps we can remember that
"the greatest of these is Love" Gospel of John. I do not believe any interpretation that claims Jesus
refers only between a man and a woman. And what
about judgement? That seems to be a sin that we all
struggle with.  The Christian God didn't require a
mortal to create Adam...why then did he need a human
woman to give birth to the Messiah? Jesus was
frustrated by the Religious/Political Leaders of His
time. He was teaching people an alternative lifestyle
to the one that was elitist and imposed their power
upon the majority. Christ was angered by the Markets.
He was compassionate and loving to a woman who was
persecuted for being a prostitute and saved her from
being stoned to death. She was one of his closest
companions.

I am so tired of the rhetoric about homosexuality
being a sin in the Bible. In Sodom and Gemorrah it
seems that those men were not homosexual but rapists
and pedophiles. There is a distinction between sexual
lust and sexual attraction. There were just as many
heterosexuals who raped and pillaged in the name of
their God. Most hypocrites are constantly breaking the
Ten Commandments and projecting their guilt and shame
onto others in the belief that their own sin will be
absolved or go unnoticed.

The concept of Good and Evil is a very old one based
upon the schizophrenia of those unable to reconcile
the opposition within their own psyche. How can anyone
claim that the day is better than the night? It was
the night sky that the 3 Magi charted through
Astronomy/Astrology to find the time and place of the
birth of the Messiah. The North Star is only visible
at night. Does that make Jesus a Child of the Night?
It is said that the best way to conquer another is by
dividing them within there self...making them their
own worst enemy. People bent on destruction with the
love of power...rather than the power of love.  There
would be no day if there were not a night. Sunshine and
Rain created a Rainbow which was a sign for Noah in
the Old Testament. Joy and Sorrow are a part of life.
To continue alienating those that are different based
upon a system that only perpetuates such fear and
ignorance is a far greater sin. There are many
spiritual belief systems that honour the differences
between their followers and allow them to discover
ways to reconcile those opposing forces... A world in
Black and White hath no colour! 

Our differences are our similarities...no two persons
are exactly the same...including twins. There are many
colours in the rainbow...who is to say which colour is
better or worse?

I was raised by heterosexual parents and they did not
make me heterosexual. I have heterosexual friends who
have homosexual parents and it did not make them gay.
The only tragedy is that the myth that children of
same-sex couples are subject to homophobic abuse is
that: it is the myth that homosexuals can't provide a
loving home that perpetuates such hatred and
ignorance. How can a heterosexual claim to completely
know or understand what it is like being gay? Anyone
who claims to have been healed from being gay and
becomes straight was probably bisexual and chose the
more accepting path.

I have personally encountered individuals who are
ordained in the Christain Ministries i.e. Roman
Catholic Churh either as a Priest or Member of the Knights
of Columbus who have sexually abused children. Yet, I
also have met Priests that are homosexual but afraid
to come out.  It seems that war has destroyed more
families. Parents working extreme hours to raise their
children and some resenting them for it.  Alot of
abuse occurs in the home...but not every home.

Love knows no gender simply means that there are many
degrees of love. To say that sexual love is a sin is
ludicrous! I only know what is in my own heart and I
have received more love and support from persons
outside of my family. Some are straight and some are
gay. I was in a relationship with another male for
seven years and we did not engage in anal penetration
and yet our friends who are a heterosexual couple often did.
There are so many archaic stereotypes that need to be
exposed.

And the whole concept of what it is to be masculine
vs. feminine is another stereotype that is being
challenged by gender bending. It is not natural for a
woman to shave her body and facial hair. But if men do
so it is considered feminine. It seems that Jesus
would have been very in touch with his feminine side
and he also left a biological family to create his
extended familiy.

It takes more COURAGE for two men to hold hands in
public than it does to beat the crap out of one
another in a boxing fight. How can people be so
willing to accept violence between two men and yet are
freaked when they see two men being affectionate?
Seems a bit twisted to me.

So please...if  any of you want to change or deny who
you are to be accepted by a group like the Roman
Catholic Church's  COURAGE...remember to respect the
life and love of other persons who dare to be
themselves and who love one another in a consential manner
that is their truth.

Personally I feel that it has been political and
religious powers that breed the fear and ignorance
that has fueled Holy Wars by dividing people into Us
vs.Them.

Fear is the absence of Love and it is fear that makes
strangers out of people who could be friends.

May We All Discover Peace and Love on the Path of
Compassion and Loving Kindness...
